THE MEDICINE BUDDHA

1-Nguyện con sau này, khi được tuệ giác vô thượng, thì bản thân ánh áng rực rởchiếu soi vô số quả đât hệ. Thân ấy lại được trang hoàng bằng bố mươi nhì tướngtốt của bậc đàn ông và tám mươi tướng phụ. Lại tạo nên mọi tín đồ khôngkhác gì cùng với con.

1-I vow that in a future life, when I attain the supreme enlightenment, my bodywill shine with dazzling light that will illumine measureless, countless,boundless worlds. My toàn thân will be adorned with the thirty-two heroic featuresand the eighty subsidiary characteristics, và I will enable all beings tobecome as I am.

2-Nguyện con sau này, lúc được tuệ giác vô thượng, thì thân như ngọc lưu ly,trong xung quanh trong suốt, không chút vẩn đục, tia nắng to phệ và chiếu lan xa rộng.Công đức vật sộ, lại khéo an trú. đều tia sáng sủa rực rở, dệt nhau như mạng lưới,và nghiêm túc quá hơn nhật nguyệt. Chúng sanh ám muội được soi sáng cả, bắt buộc tùyý hướng mà lại làm các sự nghiệp.

2-I vow that in a future life when Iattain the supreme enlightenment, my body toàn thân be as bright and clear as crystal,flawlessly pure, vastly radiant, majestic with merit & virtue, abiding atease, adorned with blazing nets brighter than the sun and the moon. Beingsdwelling in darkness will be illuminated and will succeed in all theirendeavors.

3-Nguyện nhỏ sau này, khi được tuệ giác vô thượng, thì vận dụng vô lượng trí tuệvà phương tiện, làm cho mọi người cùng được vô tận phần lớn vật hưởng trọn dụng,không để cho ai bao gồm sự thiếu hụt thốn.

3-I vow that in a future life when Iattain the supreme enlightenment, I will, by means of limitless, unboundedwisdom and skill-in-means, enable all sentient beings lớn obtain aninexhaustible supply of material necessities so they are without the slightestwant.

4-Nguyện bé sau này, khi được tuệ giác vô thượng, thì những kẻ theo tà đạođều được thiết kế cho ở im trong đạo Giác Ngộ, những người dân tu theo Thanh Văn,Duyên Giác số đông được xây dựng bằng pháp Đại Thừa.

4-I vow that in a future life when Iattain the supreme enlightenment, I shall lead those sentient beings whopractice deviant paths lớn reside in the Way of Enlightenment, and those whotravel on the vehicles of the Hearer or Solitary Buddha khổng lồ abide in the GreatVehicle.

5-Nguyện nhỏ sau này, khi được tuệ giác vô thượng, thì vô số tín đồ tu hành phạm hạnh vào chánh pháp của con, bé làm chotất cả được giới thể không hề thiếu sót, đầy đủ giới pháp bố loại. Giả sử pháphạm đi nữa, nghe thương hiệu con rồi làphục hồi thanh tịnh, không rơi vào cảnh đường dữ.

5-I vow that in a future life when Iattain the supreme enlightenment, I shall enable limitless and boundlessnumbers of sentient beings who cultivate Brahma conduct within my Dharma toperfectly uphold the three clusters of precepts without exception. Shouldthere be any violation, upon hearing may name, they will regain their purityand not fall into the evil destinies.

6-Nguyện nhỏ sau này, khi được tuệ giác vô thượng, phần đa kẻ thân hình phải chăng kém,giác quan không đủ, xấu xí, u mê, mù, điếc, câm ngọng, tay quắp, chân quẹo,lưng gù, phung lác, điên cuồng, đủ lắp thêm bịnh khổ, tuy nhiên nghe danh hiệu con rồi,tất cả phần đa đẹp đẽ, sáng ý giác quan trả bị, không còn mọi bệnh dịch khổ.

6-I vow that in a future life when I attain the supreme enlightenment, if thereare sentient beings whose bodies are inferior and whose faculties areimperfect, who are ugly, dull, blind, deaf, mute, deformed, paralyzed,hunchbacked, or afflicted with skin disease, insanity, or various othersickness & sufferings, upon hearing my name they shall all become endowedwith upright features, keen intelligence, and perfect faculties, & theyshall be không tính tiền of sickness & suffering.

7-Nguyện con sau này, khi được tuệ giác vô thượng, đa số kẻ bị mọithứ bịnh khổ hành hạ và quấy rầy mà không ai cứu giúp, không nơi nương tựa, không tồn tại ysĩ, không có dược liệu, không tồn tại thân thuộc, không tồn tại nhà cửa, bần cùng lắmkhổ, thì danh hiệu của con, một khi trải qua thính giác của họ, là bịnh khổ tanbiến, thân trọng tâm an lạc, bên cửa, thân thuộc với đồ dùng rất đầy đủ tất cả, cho đếnthực hiện nay được tuệ giác vô thượng.

7-I vow that in a future life when I attain the supreme enlightenment, I shallcause sentient beings who are oppressed by many illnesses and who are withoutaid, without a place lớn turn, without a doctor, without medicine, withoutrelatives, and without a family, who are poverty-stricken và filled withsuffering khổng lồ be cured of their sicknesses upon having my name pass by theirear, so they are peaceful and happy inbody and mind. They will have a family and relatives, và acquire anabundance of property & wealth, & even realize the supreme enlightenment.

8-Nguyện con sau này, khi được tuệ giác vô thượng, ví như có nữ giới nhân nào bị hành hạbởi cả trăm thứ đau buồn của chị em nhân, đề xuất cùng cực chán ngán, mong mỏi thoát thân ấythì nghe thương hiệu con rồi, toàn bộ đều được đưa thân nữ giới thành thân phái nam tử,đủ tướng trượng phu, cho đến thực hiện tại được tuệ giác vô thượng.

8-I vow that in a future life when I attain the supreme enlightenment, if thereare women who give rise to lớn a deep loathing for their female body and wish torenounce it because they are oppressed và disturbed by the myriad sufferingsof being female, upon hearing my name, they will be able khổng lồ turn khung women intomen who are replete with male features & ultimately realize the supremeenlightenment.

9-Nguyện con sau này, lúc được tuệ giác vô thượng, thì tạo cho mọi tín đồ thoátkhỏi màng lưới của ma vương, túa mở thắt buộc của nước ngoài đạo. Sa vào rừng rậmác loài kiến thì sẽ được dẫn ra, đem đặt vào chánh kiến, và từ từ làm cho họ thựctập những hạnh người yêu tát, để thực hiện một biện pháp mau giường tuệ giác vô thượng.

9-I vow that in a future life when I attain the supreme enlightenment, I shallliberate sentient beings from the nets of demons and the bonds of externalsects. If they have fallen into the dense forests of evil views, I shall leadthem khổng lồ have proper views và to gradually cultivate the practices ofBodhisattvas so they will quickly realize the proper, equal and supremeenlightenment.

10-Nguyện nhỏ sau này, lúc được tuệ giác vô thượng, thì các kẻ bị phép vua ghisổ, xích trói đánh khảo, giam nhốt lao ngục, sắp bị hành hình, cộng với vô lượngtai nạn khổ nhục và bi thương sầu muộn không giống nữa, ngâm nấu bức bách, tạo cho cảcơ thể lẫn vai trung phong trí phần đông chịu thống khổ, tuy thế nghe danh hiệu của con, thì vì năng lực phước đức vàuy thần của con mà người ta thoát hết đầy đủ sự sợ hãi khổ sở.

10-I vow that in a future life when I attain the supreme enlightenment, I shallcause sentient beings who fall into the hands of the law & are bound,interrogated, whipped, fettered, imprisoned, sentenced to lớn execution, orsubjected to lớn endless disasters, hardships, abuse, và humiliation so thatthey are torn by grief và distress & suffering in body toàn thân and mind, toobtain, upon hearing my name, liberation from all worry và suffering bymeans of my blessings, virtue, & awesome spiritual power.

11-Nguyện bé sau này, khi được tuệ giác vô thượng, phần lớn kẻ bị đói khát hành hạ,vì cầu cái nạp năng lượng mà làm gần như ác nghiệp, tuy vậy nghe được danh hiệu của con, nhấttâm lâu trì, thì đầu tiên con tạo nên họ no đủ cơ thể bằng thực phẩm tuyệtdiệu, tiếp nối con sẽ đem cái vui cứu vớt cánh của pháp vị mà thi công cho họ.

11-I vow that in a future life when I attain the supreme enlightenment, I shallcause all sentient beings who are so plagued by hunger và thirst that theycreate all kind of bad karma in their quest for food, upon hearing may nameand single-mindedly accepting và maintaining it, khổng lồ be filled with deliciousfood và drink và afterward, by means of the flavor of Dharma, to lớn settle in ultimatepeace và happiness.

12-Nguyện nhỏ sau này, khi được tuệ giác vô thượng,những kẻ nghèo thiếu thốn y phục,ngày đêm đau khổ vì loài muỗi mòng rét nóng, nếu nghe thương hiệu của bé mà nhấttâm thọ trì, thì như sở thích của họ, chúng ta được liền phần lớn thứ y phục tuyệt diệu,lại được đầy đủ đồ trang sức quý bằng vàng ngọc. Hoa vòng hương xoa, âm thanh hòa tấu và đầy đủ kỹ thuật biểu diễn,tùy ý bọn họ thích, con làm cho đầy đủ tất cả.

12-I vow that in a future life when I attain the supreme enlightenment, if thereare sentient beings who are poor and without clothes so that day & nightthey are troubled by mosquitoes and flies, and by cold và heat, upon hearingmay name and single-mindedly accepting and maintaining it, they shall obtainall kinds of fine và wonderful garments that accord with their tastes, aswell as a variety of precious adornments, flower garlands, fragrant balms,and the enjoyments of music & various kinds of talents, so that all theirhearts; delights will be fulfilled.
